OpenSI Sponsorship

OpenSI  Sponsorship provides a direct way for organisations to meaningfully support the advancement of open‑source research, education, and innovation. Sponsorship enables companies to contribute to the long‑term sustainability of OpenSI’s mission: strengthening collaboration between academia and industry, accelerating open-source development, and empowering students and researchers to build technologies with real‑world impact.

In recognition of your support, OpenSI will acknowledge your organisation through visibility opportunities appropriate to your sponsorship tier. 

OpenSI offers multiple sponsorship levels, each associated with clearly defined benefits and aligned with the scale of contribution. Contributions may include a combination of direct funding and limited in‑kind support, with in‑kind contributions capped to preserve program sustainability.

Contributor Sponsors

Support OpenSI’s mission and receive baseline visibility and engagement opportunities.

Innovation Sponsors

Receive increased visibility across OpenSI research and public programs, and opportunities to engage with student and research activity.

  2. Use of official OpenSI Innovation Sponsor badge
  3. Mid-tier logo visibility on the OpenSI’s website (contributor-tier), including a direct link to the sponsor’s organisation
  4. Prominent logo display in Research and technical Events, including research presentation, webinars and conference talks,
  5. Logo placement on OpenSI outreach events, including digital banners, and not technical webinars.
  6. Recognition on OpenSI Public Events, such as public lectures, workshops and hackathons.
  7. Opportunity to propose topics or challenges for OpenSI student research engagement (non-binding and subject to OpenSI approval)

Option 3

Strategic Partner Sponsors

Play a leadership role in OpenSI’s ecosystem, with top‑tier visibility and structured strategic engagement.

  4. Verbal and visual acknowledgement as a strategic partners and funders at OpenSI events and scientific publications
  5. One annual industry-research workshop with OpenSI leadership and OpenSI industry advisory panel to discuss collaboration opportunities.
  6. Option to co-brand one selected OpenSI event per year subject to OpenSI review and approval.
